Ingredients and Amounts

  • 5 cups of water
  • 1 1/2 cups of sugar
  • 1/4 lb of ground Jamaica Blue Mountain® Coffee
  • 2 cups of your favorite rum


  • Place the 1/4 lb of ground coffee into a bowl and pour the 2 cups of rum over it
  • Cover and leave at room temperature for 3 days
  • Place sugar and water into a saucepan and heat over medium heat until the sugar is completely dissolved and the mixture begins to thicken into syrup
  • Remove from heat and cool
  • Strain the coffee rum mixture that has been sitting for 3 days, to remove coffee granules
  • Add the sugar syrup
  • Bottle and leave to age for at least 2 months

Makes approximately 2 pints or 1 liter of Jamaican Blue Mountain® Coffee Liquor
